NOEL EMPRAW real name NOEL ONOJA was born in Garki Abuja to 23rd of March 1984 to public servant parentts. He spent his growing up years in abuja .
He grew up listening to hip hop genre of music, even as a child, he loved arts prompting him to join a theatre group at age 12, 'Bazik Children Theatre' where he learned drama, stage performance and poetry.
At 14, NOEL EMPRAW started writing and performing his own songs at neigbourhood parties and basketball courts (with mixtape-type recordings).
NOEL EMPRAW has carved a niche for himself in the industry by delivering his style of music which he describes as 'ALTERNATIVE'
NOEL EMPRAW, a graduate of business administration from Kogi State University, he started recording songs professionally in 2005 with a single titled 'This Life', the song eventually gained popularity as it became radio station's favorite around abuja and environ.

Music in Nigeria is rapidly growing and some believe you have to go commercial before you make it, others believe so much in rap that they forgot they have to make money; some believe you can make it anywhere. I totally believe in rap music and on the other hand I strongly believe in making money, so do I stick to rap or make money. You will agree that a little bit of everything will do no harm so for me I want to make records that will sell and also make everybody happy, that’s ME, the LABEL and the FANS.
I see Playboy butter as a brand, as a product to the mass market, and sometimes all we need is a chance to show what we got inside. Playboy butter promoted himself without sponsors, no parental support and this effort got him to the Abuja top 10 on cool fm for 8 weeks, and Fly away was on the number one spot for two weeks, radio interviewers on all radio stations in Abuja and a Record deal with Music House
Playboy butter gets his inspiration from God and his mother, he happens to love playing basketball, writing, freestyling , and traveling.
